Fitness BootCamp

WMMA's newest program is our Fitness BootCamp. This program is designed to get you in the best shape of your life by building muscle and losing fat through a comprehenisve exercise and nutrition program. BootCamp meets Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays and each 45 minute class is packed with exciting and different routines!

Unlike our Kickboxing classes, this course does not involve punching or kicking. Instead, we use dynamic motion exercises, large body movements designed to involve groups of muscles. Every student works at their own pace and fitness level. Beginners - no matter what shape you're in - can do this class as there's no pressure to keep up with the other students.

Our nutrition program is tailored to your needs, including your age, weight, height, and activity levels. There are no fancy grocery requirements, but you do need to keep track of what you eat. Our students have all lost fat, gained muscle - and have more energy than ever!

"You will work your butt off - literally - but if you stick with it and dedicate yourself to the nutrition that is best for you, you WILL see results!" - M.S.

Midwest Grappling Championship

Our High Intensity Team (HIT) sent 8 members to the North American Grappling Association's 2008 Fall Tournament and Team WMMA came home with 13 Awards: Two First Place Trophies, 8 Second Place Awards and 3 Third Place Awards. With less than a Year of Grappling experience our students are winning points on the National Level. Our Pro-Star curriculum is the real deal - and our students are winning matches against other schools with years more experience in ground fighting! Congratulations one and all - and special thanks to Mr. Joe Brignoli for helping us out at a special practice the night before - and "coaching" and cheering from the sidelines at the contest!!!

July 2008

Wonder Lake Parade!

The Fourth of July Parade in Wonder Lake was a GREAT opportunity for our students to strut their stuff! We broke boards and more boards, using elbows, fists and feet to create boxes and boxes of kindling! Our new T-Shirts - the bright yellow ones - made their debut and we looked very sharp. You can even see the glitter exploding from within a few of the boards if you look closely!

Pool Party!

Although the weather was awfully scary looking at 8 AM that Saturday morning... by 9:15AM, all of the rain had moved on, the clouds were breaking up - and we ended up with the PERFECT weather for our Annual Pool Party! Close to 100 students and family members turned out at Woodstock Water Works to enjoy the morning with swimming, diving, sliding, wading - and eating donuts!
